Growth Manager 🚀

We're adding thousands of users every week, help us make this millions!

Do you want to grow a truly unique and useful product in the Grocery space?

We are cooking up the fastest and most enjoyable grocery shopping and cooking experience in the world. We want to help busy people and those overwhelmed by the pressures of daily life enjoy this chore of the weekly shop.

Our diverse founding team of 21 have built businesses such as Monzo, Amazon, Weezy and Hello Fresh and our backers have scaled companies like Ocado, Innocent, Babylon and Deliveroo. We know what it takes to build products enjoyed by millions of people across the world.

To achieve this mission, we need to spread the word about Lollipop to millions of people - this is where you come in. We are now looking for a Growth Manager to drive growth forward day to day with our VP of Growth. You’re someone who makes things happen despite ambiguity and can calmly handle periods of breakneck scaling and moments of chaos.

🙌 What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Owning acquisition, conversion and retention initiatives that grow our user base against the financial and monthly plan set by our VP Growth
  • Coordinating various agencies and freelancers to deliver impactful growth
  • Optimising, scaling and prioritising campaigns based on data driven insights and learnings
  • Working with our Product Managers (already growth minded) to develop new data-driven product initiatives to drive growth
  • Collaborating with the Community team to make sure unique content attracts new users through word of mouth, SEO and supporting the existing community to drive engagement and retention
  • Optimising the funnel by experimenting with new paid channels and tactics, landing page optimisation, CRO and the role of incentives
  • Ensuring data tracking, attribution and spend optimisation across all creatives, targets and other strategies. Continuously optimising based on learnings from A/B tests
  • Using data to create reports to drive action and report performance against plan
  • Exploring creative ways to acquire users: finding new partners, investigating and recommending new marketing technologies and techniques.

🎉 We'd love to hear from you if...

  • You have at least 4 years impactful experience driving growth in a scaling startup environment
  • You have performance marketing experience and can point to evidence of growth through initiatives of which you took ownership
  • You love handling multiple concurrent projects from start to finish, and have experience in both paid and organic growth channels
  • Data is your thing. You are super analytical and driven by data in everything you do
  • You are a creative thinker; you can find ways of reducing dependency on paid marketing by helping to develop a product that people want to tell their friends about, and making it easier for them to do so
  • You’re a hands on 'do-er' and love rolling your sleeves up
  • What we're building at Lollipop excites you and you can't wait to tell all your friends about us

💪 Logistics

  • Salary: £50K -70K (depending on experience) with substantial EMI options. This is a level 1 role on our progression framework. For more details of salary and options offered see our salary calculator.
  • 25 days holiday, monthly socials and much more to come! Help us shape our benefits!
  • Location: We work both at home 3 days a week and in the Lollipop Lodge near London Bridge 2 days a week. This role can be remote in the UK, which we can discuss when we get to know you.

🤝 How we’ll get to know each other

We're so egg-cited to meet you! 🥳 We’re mindful and respectful of your time, so our process will shouldn't take more than 4 and a half hours in total and will typically consist of:

  • an initial intro call (30 minutes)
  • a take home task (no more than 2 hours)
  • a role specific deep-dive of the task with our VP of Growth & our Founder, CEO (1 hour)
  • a team fit discussion with other members of the team (1 hour)

We believe that our team is stronger with a variety of perspectives, and we’re eager to further diversify our company.
