Position Summary - Scope of Job
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and delivering Arrival’s digital strategy. We are at an exciting time in our business with a high growth strategy, a company-wide rebrand underway and a new marketing team being built.
You’ll lead on all aspects of digital strategy keeping an eye on long-term goals while overseeing more near-term projects. Over the next few months, we will be launching a new website and want to develop a targeted and results-driven B2B lead gen funnel as part of that. We see the Digital Marketing Manager as working alongside the Head of Marketing and web design agency to drive this project and ensure the end result meets our needs and reflects our new ambitious market positioning.
This is a brilliantly varied role, working across the business to not only take care of the digital elements of existing client relationships but also rolling out best practice for generating B2B leads and revenue opportunities for Arrival through digital engagement.
Main Responsibilities
Website relaunch
Work with the Head of Marketing and web agency to lead the relaunch of the Arrival website
Oversee project management of website relaunch keeping project plans, milestones, identifying barriers and communicating with project team
Ensure new web strategy is optimised for SEO and lead generation
Define objectives and deliverables to improve the quality of visitor traffic, promote engagement and increase new customer acquisition growth
Become CMS business superuser for further enhancements and updates
Digital Marketing
Provide digitally skilled marketing expertise and oversee all digital communications
Create and maintain the Digital Marketing calendar in conjunction with the multi-channel strategy and wider marketing plan
Email marketing: working with Head of Operations and Head of Marketing to design and deliver best practice email marketing including assessment of email marketing vendors
Develop our CRM contact strategy to build integrated communications at all touch points and nurture leads through the marketing funnel to conversion
Lead on digital strategy to deliver leads via most effective platforms and means for relevant target audience eg PPC/Google Adwords/LinkedIn/Instagram
SEO: Lead strategy to maximise performance across SEO disciplines and drive engagement across content creators in business
Design and deliver reporting & actionable insights from all digital marketing activities on a weekly/quarterly/annual basis, using it to provide tactical recommendations for improved performance
Social Media
Work with the marketing team to create Arrival social media strategy across target audiences
Contribute expertise to driving engagement
Introduce best practice monitoring of social media performance and engagement
Broader team input
Support the marketing team in generating new ideas for growth, utilising a test and learn strategy
Assisting in ad hoc data requirements and projects
Be the gatekeeper of all digital marketing assets within the business
Act as digital brand ambassador
Develop guidelines to ensure any digital activity is in keeping with our brand and does not damage our reputation
Bring fresh thinking and the desire to challenge: brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
About the Person
We are looking for a strong Digital Marketing Manager who is:
Experienced in B2B digital marketing
Able to create and design digital strategies
Flexible in their approach and comfortable executing the tasks associated with the strategy
Experienced in using CMS
Knowledgeable about various digital channels
An effective communicator and highly organised
Creative, dynamic and innovative
A self-starter, naturally positive and tenacious and highly motivated
Able to successfully deliver at pace in a start-up environment
Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
Passionate about our agenda
Works well under pressure and able to offer creative solutions
Results driven and solutions focussed
Social, confident and outgoing
This role is remote based and will involve occasional travel into London as and when required.
In return, we are offering a salary of up to £45,000/annum for this role.
