The risk & compliance team plays a key role in protecting our customers and Moneybox and works closely with the rest of the business. The Compliance Officer will join our growing team and provide advice and oversight to the savings and investments teams. Reporting to the savings and investments Risk & Compliance Manager, you will carry out a variety of tasks that will include monitoring, reviews and advising the business.
What You’ll DoWorking closely with the rest of the risk & compliance team, you will help Moneybox build a best in class risk & compliance program. You will be involved in, but not limited to, these duties:
Utilise your knowledge and experience of investment regulations to advise the business to help build great investing products that help our customers achieve their life goals Assist with the approval of financial promotions in line with regulatory requirements Periodically carry out in-depth reviews of our investing products and processes to make sure they work as planned and provide feedback on how they can be enhanced Investigate and review customer complaints to make sure we deliver fair outcomes Contribute to broader work carried out by the team to continually enhance controls Keep up to date with regulatory developments and initiatives impacting retail investment firms

Experience and SkillsKnowledge and experience of investment regulations At least 3 years’ experience in second line functions Good understanding of relevant regulations such as MiFID II and FCA Handbook sections applicable to a retail investment firm Experience identifying and implementing improvements University educated with at least one degree. Great communication and listening skills Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
