The Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline reached its five year anniversary in 2021 and is moving from strength to strength. The Helpline provides a safe, free, confidential, 24-hour, multi-lingual contact point for victims to access services, offers technical assistance to a wide range of professionals, and supports members of the community and the public to report suspected incidents of modern slavery. The helpline also acts as a central data hub and resource centre for stakeholders in the anti-slavery field to access data, training, tools, and good practice.
We are looking for an experienced Data Manager to oversee the Helpline data programme. The Helpline Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Helpline data is maximized across the sector to provide a timely, credible, high-impact evidence base for responses to modern slavery and policies.
The Data Manager will lead and grow the data programme and ensure effective publications and outputs of Helpline data are appropriately tailored and contextualized, accessible and useful to the sector.
The role will be responsible for maintaining evolving data standards, progressing and administering the Helpline’s data model, ensuring data quality and training for accurate data input, producing high-impact data insights and reports, presenting and interpreting Helpline data to external stakeholders, protecting sensitive data, and supporting the effective operation of the helpline through establishing and maintaining strong data protocols and information and privacy requirements.
At other organisations, this role may be known as Senior Data Analyst, Data Supervisor, Senior Data Officer.
