Sales Manager

Healthy(ish) sustainable lunch delivery Karma Cans, is looking for a super sales person, who loves lunch and talking to people.

We're creating a communal eating culture that starts with our team and expands into our client network.

We're expanding the team once again and it’s all about growing our B2B sales, we’re searching out and locking down great, long term customers and we need fantastic people to help us do it.

You’ll be joining the Karma Cans sales team, to build relationships, identify leads and secure new corporate customers.

What we need you to do:

When it comes to experience, though we would love to see someone with a proven track record in sales, we also think you can learn most of what you need to about our industry and the customers we serve, on the job. Ideally we'd like a few year of sales experience, especially in B2B product sales.

Create and manage a top notch pipeline. Identify potential clients, research their companies and make initial contact with them, start the relationship and keep on top of where we are with each new lead. Organisation and attention to detail are key for this bit of the job.

Build new accounts by booking and attending meetings with potential clients, manage the new relationship and turn brand new leads into ordering customers. This part of the job is all about getting out and about, getting in front of people. We’re looking for someone with some real hustle here, who can have fun making new connections.

Manage your accounts, our business is based on return customers ordering weekly, we have great relationships with our clients, you’ll be growing your own networks of great office managers and community managers who rely on you for all their catering needs. If you can sort their problems, from peanut allergies to break up traumas, you’re who we’re looking for.

Build and execute events for a range of clients. Create bespoke proposals tailored to the client brief. Work with the kitchen and operations team to plan the event. Work with various suppliers to organise staffing, the management and execution of your event.

You’ve got to love lunch, if you’re into it, other people will be too, if you can talk for the whole of lunch break and beyond about communal eating, we want to meet you.

You're organised and you’re into the details. Research is a key part of the role and keeping on top of all the moving parts.

You’re a hustler, you’re charming think strategically and clearly about how to best achieve your goals.

Our office is a plant-filled puddle of jelly bean desks and women playing their music too loud. If that's something you can get behind then this is the right company for you.

Being self-motivated and an independent thinker is essential.

The process takes 3-4 weeks from reading this long document to job offer. There will be one interview, a short presentation and a half-day of sales in action with us at the office. Your lunch on that day is covered by us.
