Summary of the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Principal Consultant to support our growing sustainability offering. Your role will be client-facing and focus on various aspects of our clients in the broad field of sustainability. You will work closely with Anthesis colleagues from our national and international network to deliver tailored solutions to our clients. You will be motivated to bring your knowledge and experience to the company and you will dive into, explore, learn and support projects within international teams of specific experts from various fields.
Solid knowledge of German language is essential. However mother tongue command of German is not required;
Identify, address and respond to client challenges related to sustainability aspects;
Understand the need for businesses to transform in order to meet the challenges of the decisive decade;
Independently drive and build relationships with key clients;
Lead business development activities with existing and prospective clients;
Lead client delivery teams with a diverse project portfolio;
Actively demonstrate thought-leadership through, for example, presenting on webinars and participating in our industry forums;
Provide technical leadership and support to junior team members; and
Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision to meet tight deadlines.
7 years’+ relevant experience in field of sustainability or environmental consulting, either in-house or in a consultancy environment;
Professional presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibility and demonstrate expertise;
Strong communication and consulting skills;
Excellent project management skills;
Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment; and
Able to work on virtual teams across different time zones.
