We’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our award-winning team as we continue the transformation of our innovative COVID-19 study into a powerful health & lifestyle community science tool- The ZOE Health Study.

Leading the communication and content strategy for the Study, the Strategist will create a plan to guide millions of people through this evolution and drive their continued contribution to scientific research with ZOE, focusing on channels such as our website, social media, email, press, and app.

This role will report to the Head of the ZOE Health Study and work closely with other marketing team members, product and design, data science, engineering, and some of the world’s top scientists, including Professor Tim Spector.

What you will be doing

Create a best-in-class communications and content strategy across multimedia channels (e.g. blogs, videos, social media) for the ZOE Health Study that motivates our contributors to continue to log their health in our app and advance human health science with us Own the ZOE Health Study’s editorial calendar, overseeing production process, as well as editing weekly blog and email contentDemonstrate thought leadership through strong contributions to strategic discussions with other leaders within the ZOE Health Study team Collaborate on cross-functional projects with team-mates in Product, Design, Engineering, and ScienceTrack communications and content performance, and report performance cross-functionally to key stakeholders  Manage a direct report, as well as freelance staff

About you:

You have substantial experience in direct-to-consumer brand, marketing, or content strategy roles You have experience in an early stage technology startup and genuinely enjoy operating in a high growth environment. Ideally, this will have been in the science / health tech industry, however we are open to consider other industries   You will have previous line management experience and are comfortable leading, motivating and developing a direct report You have a strong track record of strategy expertise in web- and product-based content, with some channel ownership experience across one or more of the following: SEO, CRM, Social and Web.  You are a succinct and focused communicator You are a dynamic thinker, self-starter, and doer who thrives when executing at pace. You are analytical and can propose business cases for your ideas and assess the ROI of your work You thrive on conceiving new, creative solutions to challenging customer / business problems using content / comms tools You have a passion for making the world healthier through the power of content
