This is one of three roles for which we are hiring. The other two are for Partnerships and Quality leads.
Founders and Coders works a four-day week. We are a small nonprofit training provider with a highly innovative peer-led training model and a focus on software developer apprenticeships.
Every term we take on 12 new learners. By the end of this year, we expect to have around 40 apprentices on our books and a staff team of seven. For the first time since our foundation in 2014 we have a sustainable business model and nothing to hold us back.
You like taking responsibility and can work with a high degree of autonomy. You expect to be accountable to your peers for your work and you expect the same from them.
You have experience of community engagement. You are excited to be part of a small team with a radical approach to learning in general and apprenticeships in particular.
About the role
This is a four-day a week role. However, because this is a new role in the organisation, we may consider applicants wishing to work a three-day week.
You will be responsible for ensuring that we have a committed and diverse applicant pool and that we have an active and engaged alumni community.
- Salary: £36-42,000, depending on experience
- Hours: 30 hours (4 days)
- Holiday: 24 days + bank holidays (although not during term time, if possible)
- Contract: 12 months, initially
- Location: Finsbury Park (minimum of 2 days per week on-site)
