Join Oak National Academy as they are looking for a Learning Design & Training Manager

We are looking for a great Learning Design & Training Manager to join Oak’s Education Team.

This unique and incredible opportunity will see you design and lead the training of everyone involved in the creation of high-quality, evidence-based, in-class exemplar curricula and lesson resources, including teacher creators and those in quality assurance roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the continuous improvement of training and development for our curriculum partners and teacher creators.

  • Develop a framework and provide support and quality assurance for internal and external training programmes and webinars across the organisation.

  • As a member of the Oak Team, contribute to the planning and culture of the organisation.

  • Work in cross-functional and product oriented squads with colleagues from across the organisation, as required.

  • Deputise for the Head of Curriculum Design and take on other general responsibilities as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • 2+ years experience in designing, delivering and continuously improving training programmes.

  • Education expert with knowledge of and expertise in effective professional development for teachers.

  • Have qualified teacher status (QTS) and direct experience of teaching in a school/schools in England in Key Stages 1, 2, 3 or 4.

The successful candidate will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be comfortable working at pace and you will continuously look at ways that the team can work more smartly. You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time effectively.
