🌟 About the role

We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated and assertive Head of QA. You will apply your skills, energy and creativity to lead the quality assurance of our beloved product — Lodgify.

In this position, you will be able to utilize your leadership skills to build, implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain the quality of delivery.

🌟 You will be in charge of:

Define QA strategy, approach, and execution in development projects. Drive the company transformation towards a more automated approach to quality assurance. Provide expertise throughout the entire product development life cycle with a strong sense of quality ownership making sure that quality is baked in from the start. Lead and direct the QA team. Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews of the QA engineers. Manage training and continuous learning of QA staff. Work closely with Platform, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to define the optimal solution for the quality assurance process for each feature development squad. Define the Quality Thresholds and Metrics to ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance, and issue tracking. Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams. Oversee the delivery and maintenance of automated tests and frameworks based on industry best practices. Focus on continuous QA improvements including the usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, and test automation.

🌟Requirements

Be a strong leader with experience implementing and shaping company QA processes and strategies. Experience managing QA across multiple projects and development teams. Experience building QA teams, and motivating and mentoring QA Engineers. Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment. Strong communication skills with all the key stakeholders to ensure QA vision is understood and implemented correctly. Be an advocate of Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement, Continuous Testing, and industry-recognized Best Practices. Excellent communication skills, to promote the quality-centric approach. Strong influencing and negotiation skills to get management buy-in on ideas and concepts. Very good level of written and spoken English
