This small but robust team cooperates with groups led by volunteers, energy specialists, and both commercial and community bodies to drive forward new projects.

Sharenergy is one of the UK’s leading community energy organisations. We are looking for somebody exceptional to work in our Development Team. The team currently has 5 members, working closely with volunteer-led groups, energy experts, commercial and community entities to deliver new projects.

Sharenergy work as consultants on individual projects and as incubators of whole new approaches, from the ground-breaking Big Solar Co-op to the Community Heat Development unit. The role is remote, though employees will be expected to visit some sites as part of the role. Head office is based in Shrewsbury, and occasional visits for all staff meetings may be required.
