Happy Tuesday, Escapees,

May is a month of transformation.

Time begins to accelerate a little as we awaken from our semi-hibernation and see the plants turning a luscious green, and the sun finally starting to shine high in the sky.

Life is everywhere, it settles around you on early evening drinks with friends, it flies against your face when you’re in the park, it springs up green and yellow between any gaps in the pavement.

And with all of these small but not insignificant moments, comes a feeling of lightness and optimism. One of transformation and promise.

And with transformation around us as the season blooms, there’s also the inner transformation that’s desperate to be done. That which comes from wanting to do something different, something with meaning...but you're not sure what that something is.

Maybe it's a different company. Maybe it's a new career. Maybe you want to go on a big adventure or start your business. But you're not sure where to start. You’re not sure where to turn and you don’t know what your options are. And... there's another problem.

Leaving a safe job is scary.

And making any kind of change, taking the first steps towards transformation can also be scary.

It’s about personal fulfilment, it’s about making active choices for yourself, and it’s about owning your definition of success.

It will help you think about questions such as, what isn't working for me in my career? What type of life do I want to lead? How do I work out what I really want to do? What is holding me back? How do I come up with a plan that excites me? What strategies will help me to build my dream job?
