About our Speakers: These four Amani Institute Fellows all did the Social Innovation Management Hybrid Program, where they took the deep dive into a new country to grow their skills as a changemaker.

Clara was born and raised in Germany and is now living in Nepal. She has changed locations physically but often felt torn between her two homes. Nonetheless, between all the change, she has found a balance and is able to pursue her interests in social development, education, and personal growth. Clara is now working at "Uplift Nepal" with projects focusing on youth.

Samuel is an Operations Lead at Beam where he manages a team supporting single parents to find work. He spends a lot of his time trying to understand what can get in the way of creativity and collaboration, which is made worthwhile by rare eureka moments shared with colleagues and friends that act as catalysts for change.

Working in Marketing in the waste management sector, living in Brazil, then Kenya, Mozambique and now in Germany. Student, CEO and Mother, Maíra is a chameleon who manages to quickly and effectively adapt between environments. One constant throughout her journey, is her ability to create a positive impact with whatever she does.

Gianmarco is no stranger to change. He has consistently reinvented himself through moving countries, industries and roles. After living in Kenya and founding Nai Naimi, he is now back working in Swizerland. Although change is a constant in his life, Gian has always managed to keep focused on his passion, helping empower youth.
