We are looking for a hard-working, energetic and well-organised individual to join our team of security specialists as an information security consultant.
While we welcome applications from people with experience in the security sector, having a passion to learn from others is more important.
The role would involve:
- conducting information security assessments
- managing a program of cyber vulnerability assessments
- producing accurate technical reports detailing in a language understood by both technical SMEs as well as less technical stakeholders
- assimilating and understanding system knowledge by engaging with client service providers and other stakeholders
- delivering oral briefs to senior and junior client managers on technical vulnerabilities and risk
- maintaining a knowledge of current cyber issues, vulnerabilities and exploits
The right person would have:
- at least 2 years commercial experience
- effective communication and written skills
- great ability for organising and project managing
- able to present on paper and convert complex information into manageable documents
- prior experience of working independently and being a self-starter
- the character to work alone, the right personality to work within a team, and the ambition to work anywhere in the world
......they might also have the following technical skills and experience:
- good knowledge of network and endpoint security fundamentals
- familiarity with industry frameworks such as NCSC CAF, NIST CSF, CIS Top 18 and ISO
- familiarity with technical security assurance activities such as Red Teaming, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments and Compliance Audit
