We currently do very little structured marketing, so this is a real opportunity to create a strategy, build the brand and in time grow a whole in-house team. We currently cover a vast range of incredibly exciting and innovative events and experiences for children and adults in both the private and corporate markets and can see huge potential for growth. We’re looking for someone who is creative and imaginative, but also has an understanding and genuine interest in the analytical side of marketing.
Below is a summary of the role:
- Work with the whole team to create an exciting marketing strategy
- Manage and update the S&G website which has been designed to allow easy editing of content, photos, videos and text. We work with a development agency who you would instruct on structural and more fundamental changes.
- Whilst managing the current website, we would like to work out a better way to present our offering to adults both in the private and corporate markets.
- Optimising the website for SEO.
- Writing and creating new web content as well as starting and running a blog on the site.
- Writing/planning SEO focused content to help boost the site.
- Writing/creating content that is focused on current trends/brand-focused content.
- Some copy editing to ensure a consistent tone across the website and marketing channels.
- Run all digital and social marketing. This would include running our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) as well as writing and planning our email newsletters on Campaign Monitor.
- Curate photos on Smugmug which are used for proposals, social media and the website.
- Generate daily content for social media, website and future proposals, by going out to events as well as capturing what goes on behind the scenes.
- Increase awareness of, and engagement with the brand.
- In time, identify a good PR agency and manage that relationship.
- Come up with creative and practical direct marketing activity.
- Understand and process customer data at a granular level to steer the marketing efforts and product development.
- Oversee the branding of kit, events and activities the company provides.
- Generate quarterly marketing reports to track marketing performance e.g. social media stats, website visits and email newsletter stats.
