Job Brief
We’re looking for a Product Manager to sit in our Operations team. This team owns the core infrastructure that powers our app and keeps our users safe on our platform.
You’ll be responsible for vital operations features, such as improving our innovative investment platform, protecting our customers from fraud and building more effective tools for our Customer Support team.
We’re looking for someone who is very analytical and excellent at problem solving. You will also be able to work well in a broad cross-functional team, have a real interest in building a new way of delivering financial services and have a keen attention to detail.
Product management experience is not necessarily required – the right candidate could come from an area such as consultancy, business analysis, change management, accountancy or project management.
What you'll do
Take ownership of the Operations roadmap, building out a clear list of outcomes and priorities your team will deliver. Collaborate with user experience, mobile and backend teams in the development of our product features in your roadmap. Work closely with a range of other internal stakeholders, including Insight, Customer Operations, Compliance, Legal and Investment Operations. Specify product requirements and write clear user stories and feature specifications that are ready to be implemented by the development team.Who you are
A driven individual who’s looking to build their career at an exciting very-fast-growing company. Ideally you’ll have experience in Operations, but this isn’t essential. A product manager who has a proven record of delivery. You understand the steps needed to evolve a product through its lifecycle and know what to look out for to overcome problems along the way. You are motivated by delivering outcomes that are not necessarily customer-facing, but still have a significant impact on user and business outcomes. You have strong attention to detail and are able to deliver effectively against tight deadlines. You demonstrate sound judgment and business instinct with a desire to challenge traditional thinking. You are commercially and technically minded – able to understand concepts and explain limitations between marketers and engineers and work well with a broad range of teams.Experience and skills
Ideally university educated with at least one degree. You will have around 2+ years’ experience in either Product Management or in a role that requires high level of analytical problem solving and attention to detail. Your background could include consultancy, business analysis, change management, accountancy or project management Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of the general fundamentals of product management and core structural processes, i.e. problem recognition, analysis, development, testing, development, retesting, launching, etc. Ability to encourage, motivate and develop a diverse group of people towards a challenging goal. Great communication, listening, and stakeholder management skills.What's in it for you?
