Our mission is to humanise brands, and to move people's lives forward through handwriting. We help our scribe tribe by providing them with an extra purpose and passion, as well as additional income. Many of them are unable to work full time, but through Inkpact can earn money writing from their kitchen tables.

We are looking for a new member of our sales team to help drive our business growth. Our revenue targets this year are double what they were last year, so we need some incredible people to make that happen.

We need people with drive, initiative, creativity, a can-do attitude, great storytelling and consultative selling skills. Our sales process lives and breathes our brand ethos, of being more HUMAN, so building deep relationships is really important – it’s not a quick sell, so you’ll need to be strategic and able to guide clients through why handwritten notes are an incredible part of the marketing mix, as well as how and when they should be using them.

Every member of our sales team needs to be able to handle the whole sales cycle, from prospecting/lead gen, through to negotiating the final agreement and pricing. Along the way that’ll involve traditional outreach, personalised and creative outreach, telling the Inkpact story, understanding clients objectives, tailoring recommendations and plans, business casing and contract negotiation.

You’ll have monthly revenue targets, with quarterly commission when these targets are hit.

This is a fantastic opportunity to have a big impact on a growing business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Business development reach-outs, targeting CMOs and Heads of CRM/Marketing/Loyalty in the retail space
  • Coming up with creative ideas for how we can meaningfully cut through and get in touch with prospects on our Hot List
  • Qualifying leads to make sure we’re focussing time and effort on deal sizes of around £60k per year
  • Booking in meetings to introduce brands to Inkpact
  • Leading initial meetings to tell the story of our brand and understand the prospects objectives
  • Creating proposals showing how we recommend clients use handwritten notes within their customer journey, and walking them through these recommendations
  • Working with numbers provided by the client and previous Inkpact results to work on business cases and share projections
  • Negotiating and closing deals

Requirements:

  • Previous success within sales roles, hitting and exceeding targets
  • 5+ years experience in consultative selling
  • Ideally Retail, CRM, Loyalty or Strategic Marketing experience
  • Bonus: network, or access to network in retail industry
  • BSc/BA in Business or other relevant field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

We are a small but mighty team spread out across the UK, backed by some of the UK's most successful entrepreneurs. If you feel like this is the job for you and you'd fit in with our fast paced team with big ambitions then please go ahead and apply!
