Graphic Design & Marketing

We are a small family of hospitality businesses located in Cartagena, Colombia, looking to build our own in-house creative team, beginning with a graphic designer. Our owners are deeply involved in the business, so the successful candidate will be working directly with the co-founders to bring their visions to life.

Work is varied, and includes producing social media posts, web design, video, photo and flyers. We don't print that much, but when we do, it has to be beautiful and we will expect you to think about details for print and production as well as digital media.

Absolutely essential:

• Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Pages (yes, really), Wix, Wordpress and basic video editing skills.
• Ability to work with varied aesthetics. We have six different brands in the family, all with their own identity.
• Bilingual (written and spoken) at expert level in both English and Spanish.

Helpful Attributes:

• A sense of humour. Our brands are young, fun and a bit cheeky.
• An eye for detail and a knowledge of the small things that make all the difference (e.g. yes we care what paper stock we print on)
• Good copywriting skills in English or Spanish.
• The right candidate could end up being the Group Marketing Director, if they show impressive organisation, delegation and execution skills.
• Living or willing to live in Cartagena (Colombia)
• Comfortable with social media. We have a community manager but it's helpful if the Graphic Design and Marketing folk understand social as well.

Compensation

• We are offering a competitive local salary that will enable a comfortable quality of life in Colombia.
• We are not offering relocation or living expenses.

This job could be done remotely.

You do not need a visa for your first 180 days in Colombia. For the right candidate, we may be able to support a visa application following 6 months successful trial.
