Latitude Trade Company (LTC) is a rapidly growing social enterprise in Uganda sourcing specialty cacao for export and producing bean to bar chocolate at origin. Working with over 2,500 certified organic smallholder farmers, our mission is to sustainably increase incomes and reduce risk for our suppliers while positively impacting the community and environment surrounding our operations. We aim to provide chocolate makers and consumers in East Africa and around the world with the highest quality, transparently sourced and fully traceable Ugandan cocoa products.
Latitude's sources all of it's cacao directly from Ugandan farmers, paying a premium price and offering an array of support services. The Latitude Craft Chocolate (LCC) brand is produced from bean to bar at the company's chocolate factory in Kampala. Job Description
The Videographer & Photographer role will report to and work closely with the Managing Director and the Sales team to provide and develop storytelling content for both sides of Latitude’s business – cocoa export and local chocolate manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for capturing and coordinating media needs for the company and create content for Latitude customers
• Curate and create content to support the chocolate and cocoa marketing teams
• Build, organize and maintain digital asset library
• Create origin content for Latitude customers operating factories in Europe and USA
• Storyboard and schedule content shoots to fit in with the needs of the marketing team.
• Creating scripts coordinate translation for video content as needed
• Coordinate product, lifestyle, and brand photoshoots
• Contribute to implementation of social media channels

Qualifications
• Portfolio of work (required)
• Own equipment (DSLR with video capabilities is sufficient for videography)
• 3-5 years Prior experience in marketing and promotion for hospitality industry or FMCG
• 3-5 years Prior experience designing content for social media
• Graphic design software and skills for editing of photography and social media content creation
• Knowledge and experience working with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other creative software
• Good organization and communication skills
• Fluent spoken and written English, preferred fluency in Luganda
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn!
