We are looking for exceptional GIS Analysts and Senior Analysts to join our growing team of climate and carbon market analysts.
We would love to hear from you if you have advanced GIS modelling capability and you are familiar with analysing vegetation and/or carbon stocks in the natural environment.
You will likely have a postgraduate degree in geography, environmental science or sustainability and/or professional experience as a GIS data scientist / analyst / developer. You will have a familiarity with and interest in academic work in this field, Google earth engine, ESA and related datasets.
As well as excellent technical capability, you will be a driven self-starter, able to manage your own time and be capable of communicating complex issues to colleagues and senior level audiences.

Responsibilities will include:
- Working with our broader team to design and implement geospatial data solutions that provide deep insights into carbon offset projects around the world.
- Analysing and monitoring carbon stocks and flows from natural assets at a global, national or local level.
- Completing quantitative analysis on geospatial datasets.
- Researching different geospatial solutions and techniques and applying them to Trove’s latest product objectives.
- Communicating insights both internally and externally, including the occasional writing of deep dive reports.
Qualifications and experience:
- Master's or PhD level qualification in climate science, geography, or equivalent
- Experience in using geospatial methods to analyse vegetation and/or carbon stocks
- Experience working as a geospatial data scientist, GIS engineer, GIS developer, or similar
- Comfortable using common GIS programmes / tools
- Advanced proficiency in Python or R coding languages
- Advanced data handling skills using cloud resources
- Self-starter creative thinker who thrives in constantly evolving environments
- Demonstrable enthusiasm for addressing climate change in the corporate sector
