We’re on the hunt for a Supply Planner Manager who enjoys working with numbers and has great communication skills. We’re growing quickly and understanding and staying on top of our demand is crucial to maintain a healthy supply position.
You’ll oversee and manage the Scrumbles supply plan, from supplier management, purchasing, manufacturing, to delivery of the goods to our warehouse. Working closely with our customer supply manager, sales team and suppliers to maintain an accurate forecast and understand stock requirements for production planning so that we have the right levels of product and no bowls or retailer shelves go empty.
You’ll lead the S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand, supply and financial plans, monitoring historical demand patterns and providing insights on supply and demand constraints, potential risks and opps and inventory optimisation. You’ll prepare forecasts and develop supply plans, and to ensure seamless production and distribution processes. In addition, you will work closely with the marketing team to bring NPD to market and launched on time. You will be involved in sourcing suppliers, negotiation and managing suppliers through the whole procurement process. You will also deal with other factors such as sustainability, risk management and ethical issues. Your work will be critical in helping our business meet our growing demand, save money, minimise waste and maximise profits!
In a nutshell:
- own the overall 12 month forecast for all SKUs, working with the customer supply manager to understand drivers, risks and opps
- manage production, communicating and monitoring the status of our monthly purchase orders, regularly liaising with our suppliers to understands risks or interruptions to production and maintaining a positive working relationship
- coordinating quarterly meetings to monitor and improve supplier performance vs SLAs
- manage our inbound supply and monitoring stockholding for a healthy level of stock and avoid overstocks
- play a key role in the annual budget process challenging the sales team on assumptions of rate of sale, distribution changes and performance variance vs historical trends
- track and report on a monthly basis our forecast accuracy, stock turnover and other key metrics to management

- Intermediate Excel ( you’re comfortable manipulating data and familiar with Vlookups, Sumifs and Pivots )
- 2+ years’ experience in Operations/Supply Chain
