Role Summary

  • As the Head of Finance, lead the strategic and operational financial management across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, senior leadership and management teams to deliver the organisation's strategy.
  • Be responsible for external reporting and providing assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasting, and provide financial expertise to the Board of Trustees and senior management.

The role: As the Head of Finance, you will provide strategic and operational finance leadership across YoungMinds. Working closely with the CEO, the senior leadership team (SLT), and the senior management team (SMT), you will be instrumental in delivering the organisation's strategy. This includes external reporting and providing assurance to the Audit & Risk Committee. The position involves leading the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasting, and providing financial expertise and insights to the Board of Trustees and senior management.

Job requirements: Candidates should meet the essential criteria satisfactorily, which includes leadership skills, the ability to manage budgets, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires a leader who can effectively lead their team with kindness and care while achieving targets and outcomes.
