Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Ability to develop and lead the People Strategy
  • Experience in overseeing the full employee lifecycle and managing employee relations
  • Experience in leading HR system development and ensuring the effectiveness of HR policies and procedures
  • Ability to lead on Organisational Development, change management, and employee wellbeing initiatives
  • Experience in maintaining an effective system of reward, pay, and benefits for employees and assuring reporting to SLT and trustees.

The role A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of People to join the YoungMinds people team in a permanent role. The Head of People will provide strategic and operational human resources leadership across the organisation, working closely with the senior leadership team (SLT) and senior management team (SMT) to deliver the organisation's strategy. This autonomous position will develop and deliver the People Strategy through the delivery of projects and plans, ensuring they are aligned with the wider organisational strategy and values of YoungMinds.

Job requirements The Head of People will be responsible for developing and leading the People Strategy, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, overseeing employee relations, ensuring an effective People Business Partnering function to managers, developing and embedding learning and development across the organisation, leading on Organisational Development and change management, leading on employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring people team operational performance, leading HR system development, ensuring effectiveness of HR policies and procedures, maintaining an effective system of reward, pay and benefits for employees, assurance reporting to SLT and trustees.
