The Role You’ll work directly with the Founder to help build and scale Simmer’s paid social creative engine, the ads that actually drive growth. This role is for someone who learns fastest by doing, doesn’t need protecting from feedback, is comfortable being wrong, fixing it, and shipping again. If you want structure, clear lanes, and lots of consensus, this isn’t it. If you want to become genuinely dangerous at performance creative, it is!
What You’ll Own 1. Talent Sourcing & UGC Management: Source, outreach, and negotiate with UGC actors and creators. Handle briefs, rates, availability, contracts, and logistics. Develop instinct for who works on camera and who doesn’t. 2. Scriptwriting & Creative Strategy: Research winning formats, hooks, and structures across Meta & TikTok. Write scripts designed to convert. Adapt scripts quickly based on performance feedback. 3. Shoot Days & Lightweight Production: Run iPhone-based shoot days with UGC actors. Direct talent clearly and decisively. Capture multiple variations efficiently. 4. Editor Management & Iteration: Work closely with a dedicated editor. Give direct, performance-led feedback. Iterate creatives quickly based on results. 5. Performance & Learning Loop: Track creative performance. Spot patterns in what scales and what dies. Feed learnings back into scripts, talent, and formats.
