ISSOS is seeking a Journalism Teacher for our summer school program in Cambridge. This role is an exciting opportunity to engage with international students aged 13-18, helping them explore the world of media and journalism through seminars, workshops, and practical exercises.

Our summer school programs are designed to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure, ensuring a summer experience like no other.
The role: As a Journalism Teacher, you will lead your students in discussions on current affairs, teach core journalistic skills such as interviewing and research, and guide them in writing articles and debating various issues. You will also contribute to the ISSOS Times, our summer school newspaper.
Job requirements: Applicants must have previous teaching experience, preferably with international students, and a strong working knowledge of the journalism industry. Fluency in English is essential.
Benefits: The position offers £2,200 per session, with up to £150 reimbursed for travel expenses. Accommodation and meals are provided, as you will be residing on campus. The role also includes participation in various evening and day activities, making it a well-rounded experience.
