Head Counselor

ISSOS is looking for two Head Counselors for each of our campuses, including Cambridge. As a Head Counselor, you will play a crucial role in managing, motivating, supervising, and leading a team of 15 Counselors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the welfare and safety of up to 150 international students aged 13-18, handling disciplinary issues, and running sporting activities, evening programmes, and cultural trips.

The role: You and your team will be responsible for creating a supportive and fun environment for the students. This position is fully residential, and you will be actively involved in various events and activities. The role is set to be challenging but rewarding, offering you a chance to make a significant impact on young people's lives.

Job requirements: Previous experience working with young people is essential, and prior people management experience is preferred. You must be fluent in English and capable of addressing difficult situations calmly and professionally. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people, hardworking, reliable, and has a flexible attitude.

Benefits: Staff members receive £2,750 for the session, with travel reimbursements up to £150 for travel to/from Cambridge. Accommodation and meals are provided once students arrive, although you are responsible for your meals during the three-day orientation.
