Role Summary

  • Provide high quality business partnering service supporting Kew's mission.
  • Analyse financial month-end processes and produce monthly reports for budget holders.
  • Review account variances and support the budgeting and forecasting process.

Role Requirements

  • Experience as a management accountant.
  • Competence in handling journals and accruals, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Either part-qualified or enthusiasm to work towards it.
  • Experience in the non-profit or commercial sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, accurate, and comfortable with computer packages.

The role: As a Management Accountant within the Financial Planning & Performance team at RBG Kew, you will support Kew’s mission by providing a high performing business partnering service. This includes performing month-end processes, producing monthly cost centre reports for budget holders, reviewing variances, and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process. You will also provide ongoing support to budget holders in reviewing their accounts.

Job requirements: You should have experience as a management accountant, including handling journals and accruals, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Candidates should be either part-qualified or keen to work towards qualification, with experience in the not-for-profit or commercial sectors. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, high accuracy levels, and confident use of computer packages are essential.
