Our rapidly growing nursery start-up is looking for an ambitious and driven Operations Associate to join our team. As an entry-level position, this role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of running a successful business.

Details:

  • Position: Operations manager
  • Based: Kensington, London, with travel to other parts of England  
  • Start Date: Early 23
  • Monday to Friday
  • Flexi working when possible
  • 20 days holidays + your birthday (taken in the standard school holiday times wherever possible)
  • 8 days of bank holidays
  • Bonus based on performance
  • 6 month probation period

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Working at a group level to grow the business around the UK
  • Working with our marketing company to develop and execute marketing strategy
  • Optimise online presence
  • Developing and sending out weekly reports on key business metrics
  • Working within the nurseries as and when required to provide ongoing support to the teams
  • Keeping an eye on day-to-day finance and accounting; working with our existing accounts
  • Dealing with the invoicing to customers and receiving payments
  • Working with Leo and Kate, founders, on business development and strategy
  • Business metrics, creating a performance framework & pulling reports on KPI’s & OKR’s
  • Build processes to increase efficiency
  • Support sales and marketing team

  • A passion for the education sector
  • A financial background/skillset and/or a marketing/branding background (this role encompasses both skillsets)
  • Experience working within an administrative and operational role
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong inter-personal and organisation skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to immediately resolve any issues
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and confident
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure
  • Flexibility to adapt in a changing environment
  • Ability to manage time effectively
