Tech Cofounder & CTO (Project Bundant)

Bundant is seeking an entrepreneurial Engineering Lead  or CTO to join our team. 

Bundant is a fast-growing startup that is poised to completely transform the way we shop for essential products at home. Our innovative tracking and reordering service ensures that users never run out of essential products again. Our technology is centred around a range of Wi-Fi connected smart devices that allow customers to know how much product they have left and reorder the exact amount they need. The devices connect to Bundant’s web app where you can track your whole pantry, see what products you have left, order refills in one click or set Bundant on autopilot so it reorders for you when you are running low. 

We’ve built our working prototype devices and are now poised to launch it for pre-orders to our target market. We are seeking an experienced CTO or technical lead to join our team and help us bring our revolutionary product to market.

The Role

As part of the founding team, and the first in-house tech hire, you will be responsible for developing Bundant's technology, architecting and implementing the platform.

You will work closely with the founder, the current team of hardware engineers and designers to create a seamless and user-friendly product. You will own the tech strategy and manage day-to-day engineering execution.

Looking ahead, you will be responsible for helping grow the team, managing budgets, timelines and setting up the technical capabilities of the business for growth. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and knowledge of IoT and embedded systems.

Responsibilities Include:

Taking charge of platform development, making key decisions on technical architecture Delivering the MVP, enabling us to test, iterate and serve our growing customer base Ensuring the systems architecture and infrastructure is scalable and can support growth Feeding into product strategy and identifying opportunities to quickly deliver customer value

Demonstrated ability to deliver an innovative product in a tech startup environment  Fluent with fullstack web development Experience with technologies such as AWS IoT and smart devices Entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility and willingness to work across a range of areas and grittiness to operate in a start-up environment Strong teamwork and a forward-thinking mindset to help drive the success of our rapidly growing startup
