About the role…
We are looking for someone with a passion and flair for technology and digital. As the organisation grows and our reach widens, we need someone with the ability and scope to think big about what’s possible within our technology footprint and how it best helps deliver our services.
From CRM systems to digital to platforms via Workplace Technology and ERP systems our Head of Architecture will engage as the lead authority on technical architecture within the Directorate. You will be a key member of the DDAT Management Team whilst managing our team of specialist architecture professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead by Example
Develop the Technical Architecture
Be the voice of the user
Support and Deliver Technology Change
What will you be doing?
Our Head of Architecture will ensure the technical architecture is complete and fit-for-purpose in terms of its ability to address stakeholder requirements and solutions in a cost-effective manner. A key element is to ensure that there is a balance of the desire for short term tactical improvements against long term aims and gains, crucially setting future direction to inform projects and improvement programmes.
You will be responsible for engaging Key Stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that the services delivered meet the business requirements and are delivered in line with organisational strategy and priority.
Diversity is something we celebrate
At the British Red Cross, we are looking for the best people to help us provide support to millions of people affected by crisis in the UK.
