About Lendable
Lendable is on a mission to make consumer finance amazing: faster, cheaper and friendlier.
We’re building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start:
One of the UK’s newest unicorns with a team of >200 people
Among the top 10 fastest-growing tech companies in the UK
Profitable since 2017
Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs
Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9/5 across 10,000s of reviews)
5* Glassdoor Rating...
So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days.
We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of these are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes.
Join us if you want to
Work in small teams of exceptional people trusted to take ownership and make decisions quickly
Be relentlessly resourceful to solve problems and find smarter solutions than the status quo
Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting
About our Team and the role
You will be the 3rd person joining our wonderful Talent Team! You will have the opportunity to continuously improve and build our hiring strategy. We have hired over 150 people over the last 12 months and are currently 250 people strong. We like to understand people on a deeper level, focusing on passion (for what they do) and authenticity (for who they are).
We strive for the highest quality when it comes to finding the best people and supporting people throughout their interview journey like no other company does.
We are a scaling company and continue to grow in the UK as well as the US. You will work on approx 10 roles at a time whilst working on People & Talent-related projects with the wider People Team. The role will be 60% execution, 20% project-based, and 20% strategy. We are looking for someone who is creative, has an innovative mindset, is a proper team player and last but not least a self-starter.

Work with heads of departments to shape and update headcount plans according to hiring needs
You will use data insights to shape current and future hiring goals and initiatives
Assisting with talent mapping, improving our EVP, and anything else that will enhance the people’s journey beyond the hiring process
Support with graduate recruitment including campus events across the UK
About you
At least 2/3 years of demonstrable experience recruiting across multiple locations
Previous experience interviewing and assessing potential hired for (technology) positions and assisting with onboarding processes
Proven ability to manage multiple jobs (10 plus) effectively at the same time
Expert in the development of talent pipelines and sourcing potential candidates for a variety of positions
Previous experience developing and executing recruiting marketing and branding strategies
Partnering with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and proactively looking for opportunities to find talent for their respective positions.
Strong preference for a candidate who has supported the hiring within a scaling technology or fintech business
Ability to speak knowledgeably about the company and answer any technical questions a potential hire may have
You have a high EQ and enjoy helping and supporting people on their journey
In your first six months, you will:
• Have built strong relationships with key stakeholders understanding challenges and potential and outlying solutions to bottlenecks
• Help ramp up the hiring as per the headcount strategy as well as provide project support or own your own projects
