Introducing Talent Spaces

If you’re looking for a role where you can make an impact, you’re in the right place. We work with global employers to make their recruitment process more inclusive and human. Talent Spaces empowers leading employers like Pfizer, The Dyson Institute & Google with access to diverse talent pools and a suite of candidate engagement SaaS tools to supercharge their recruitment process and create a stand-out candidate experience.

Our mission is to become the leading candidate engagement and experience platform and fundamentally change the way people find their next job by helping candidates feel more connected and inspired about what makes each organisation unique. Our award-winning career programmes (Upskill Me) democratise access to global companies for under-represented talent, and provide candidates with the skills, knowledge and networks they need to build a career they love. We're going through a period of growth and are in the process of scaling our business, meaning there is no better time to join us!

The role

As we grow and scale, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Client Partnerships to develop and lead our Client Partnerships Team. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving our transition to a SaaS business and building more strategic partnerships with existing and new clients.

You’ll take overall responsibility for the strategy and execution of Talent Spaces’ new business strategy – including playing a pivotal role in the definition of our SaaS proposition & driving our B2B new business and upselling opportunities. You will lead from the front as you demonstrate through consultative selling approaches how best to strengthen partnerships with our existing clients. You will be responsible for hiring a team of Account Managers as we scale. A large part of your role will be to work with the CEO in shaping the sales strategy for the future, where we should be aiming, how we get there, what the team needs to look like to be successful and how we go from that of a programmes based solution to a SaaS business.

Responsibilities

  • Taking overall responsibility for defining and executing Talent Spaces new business development strategy.
  • Drive forward the definition of our commercial SaaS proposition for new business clients as we transition from programme services – working in collaboration with our Clients, Exec and Product Teams.
  • Define & execute Talent Spaces Go-To-Market strategy for new business and existing clients.
  • Adopt a consultative approach with clients to develop successful candidate engagement strategies using our suite of tools and services – this includes consideration to all parts of the candidate journey from attraction through to assessment and onboarding.
  • To take full responsibility and accountability for the success of a portfolio of key clients, leading and developing these relationships.
  • Leading new business pitches and presentations.
  • Taking full ownership for the full new business and renewal/upselling sales cycle, ensuring client campaigns are executed effectively, achieving objectives and demonstrating positive ROI.
  • Providing regular updates to the finance team and timely updates of when forecasted actual and pipeline revenue may move to ensure business needs can be managed.
  • Lead & grow a high performing business development team to deliver on this strategy & hit our new business revenue target.
  • Use sales CRM systems to report on existing client and new business team performance (including current and forecasted revenue) to the Exec team.

Does this sound like you?

  • You’re a business development leader with experience in high-performing & fast-paced sales environments (ideally, but not necessarily, from a SaaS background).
  • You have a track record of successfully leading high-performing sales teams – hiring top sales talent, growing & coaching your team members.
  • You have experience leading & successfully executing on an international Go-To-Market strategy and are excited by the opportunity to drive forward Talent Spaces growth.
  • You have experience shaping & defining commercial propositions and are excited by the opportunity to shape our SaaS proposition as we build new technology solutions to our services offering.
  • You’re a confident and articulate communicator with a strong commercial acumen & a natural ability to build strong & long-lasting relationships with senior internal & external stakeholders.
  • You feel passionately about diversity, inclusion & social mobility within the workplace.

We can offer you:

  • Rapid career progression as an early leader in this business with share options. Become an owner of the business and share in our future success!
  • Excellent earning potential – in addition to a competitive base salary (dependent on experience) you’ll benefit from a competitive team performance-based bonus structure.
  • A high-growth and rapidly scaling business.
  • A flat & transparent structure with a values-driven & collaborative culture.
  • Flexible / hybrid-working policies.
  • Regular team socials including team off-sites, Christmas Party and other celebrations!

Key details:

  • Salary: Competitive basic salary dependent on experience, plus performance-based bonus structure and share options.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Location: London, WeWork Waterloo with hybrid-working
