  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent

The Role: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing accounts allocated to the role holder. Main responsibilities include ensuring smooth service transitions on entry and exit from customer contracts, maintaining strong customer relationships to retain and grow existing accounts, exceeding company margin and revenue targets, and continually seeking to improve and innovate in brokered waste/resource service delivery.

Job Requirements: Experience in successful operation, retention, and growth of existing accounts is required, along with extensive experience in customer service/account management teams. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills are essential. The candidate should exhibit innovative thinking aimed at improving processes and achieving results, be self-motivated, and have strong numerical skills. Knowledge of the waste industry, waste management regulation, laws, and best practices is necessary. A Maths and English GCSE level or equivalent, further or higher education qualification, and a full driving license are required.
