Role Summary

  • Deliver technical support and resolve complex IT issues
  • Assist with Microsoft Teams and audio-visual systems for meetings and events
  • Provide 2nd line support and handle escalations from 1st line
  • Engage proactively and communicate proficiently with users across RBG Kew

Role Requirements

  • Experience in IT support and familiarity with Microsoft systems and M365
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical users
  • IT related qualifications; Knowledge of ITIL and Active Directory is a plus

The role: As a Second Line IT Support Analyst at RBG Kew, you will deliver expert technical support, resolve complex IT issues, and support Microsoft Teams and audio-visual systems for meetings and events. This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to supporting users across the organisation. You will provide technical support for more complex IT issues, support escalations from 1st line, and assist with Microsoft Teams, video conferencing and audio-visual systems.

Job requirements: Applicants should have experience in an IT support environment, good knowledge of Microsoft systems and M365, and the confidence to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. IT qualifications or equivalent experience are essential, while ITIL and Active Directory knowledge would be an advantage.
