Samaritans is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing suicide. We offer a range of training services through our Training and Engagement Programme (STEP), which caters to organizations that want to train their staff effectively in supporting those struggling to cope. As a Learning and Development Officer, your role will be crucial in delivering this programme.
Role Summary:
- Manage the entire customer journey from initial inquiry to course delivery and evaluation.
- Coordinate training sessions and provide support to Associate Trainers.
- Build and maintain relationships with our client base, thereby generating income and expanding our training services' reach.
Role Requirements:
- Experience in business development and income generation, preferably within a training environment.
- Proven skills in event or training course administration and organization.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
- Experience in a client-facing role.
- Experience in delivering or facilitating training in a corporate environment is desirable but not essential.

Job requirements: We are looking for candidates with experience in business development and income generation, preferably within a training environment. You should have proven skills in event or training course administration and organization, and be capable of managing a varied workload with competing priorities. Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset are essential, as is experience in a client-facing role. Experience in delivering or facilitating training in a corporate environment is desirable but not essential.
