As a Junior IT Project Manager, you'll be actively involved in guiding technology projects that promote our organization's goals. You'll be supervised by a Senior IT Project Manager and manage numerous capital-funded projects across Kew Gardens in London and Wakehurst in Sussex.
Role Summary:

Role Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience with a history of managing technology projects.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP.
- Comfortable with various technology platforms.
- Experience in government-funded projects or public sector.
- Familiarity with Microsoft platforms like Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, SQL Server, Power BI, or Project Online.
This one-year fixed-term role offers a salary between £39,243 and £45,064 per annum, subject to skills and experience. As a Junior IT Project Manager at RBG Kew, you will be instrumental in delivering technology projects that facilitate organizational change and support Kew's strategic objectives. Working under the guidance of the Senior IT Project Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day management of multiple capital-funded projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This role requires working across both Kew Gardens in London and Wakehurst in Sussex as needed.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or possess equivalent relevant experience, with a proven track record of delivering technology-based projects. You should be familiar with best-practice project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP and be comfortable using various technology platforms. Experience in government-funded projects or public sector environments is desirable, as is familiarity with Microsoft platforms like Office 365, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, SQL Server, Power BI, or Project Online.
This is a one-year fixed-term appointment with a salary ranging from £39,243 to £45,064 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
