Who are we looking for?
The Part time Content Manager (2.5-3 days/week) will own and implement our content strategy for both our parents and team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role responsible for delivering engaging written content across our online Family Hub (aimed at parents), email marketing, internal team communications as well as coordinating our Digital Family Club events programme.
You'll be a fantastic and thoughtful storyteller, living and breathing branded content, with a proven record in increasing engagement and driving SEO with the content you produce. You’ll also be a dab hand at internal and external communications, helping to build and curate our new online content hub & internal comms.
You’ll report directly to the CMO and have line manager responsibility for our Social Media Associate.
What will you be doing day to day?
• Work with our Marketing Agency and Performance Marketing Manager on a content strategy to drive engagement and SEO
• Lead the onward development of our online content hub, working with teams to create new content & find new opportunities for SEO growth & PR placement
• Work in partnership with the People team & Social media Associate to build a content strategy around our new Employer Brand Proposition
• Work with our brand, education, food & property teams to ensure a constant flow of engaging owned content
• Support the CMO with copy and content creation for the website, emails, presentations etc.
• React to trends, news and conversations which are relevant to our audience of young families
• Work with our Education team & content freelancer to build an engaging programme of online events for parents
What will you need to bring with you?
• Previous experience writing creative and engaging content
• Demonstrable experience of growing an audience through online content, and a good knowledge of SEO
• Basic photoshop / indesign skills preferable for building assets
• Experience of email marketing analytics and tools (mailchimp)
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Data driven with demonstrable content analytics tools knowledge ( Google Analytics etc.) and confidence in analysing data
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial and proactive, you love writing and communication

- A pro-rata salary of £35-40K p/a
