Who we are looking for:
The Associate Project Manager role in N Family Club will be responsible for driving exceptionally high standards, with ownership and accountability for delivering our pipeline of new sites and refurbishment programmes.
Working closely with the Head of Construction (HoC) and the Property Team, you will ensure that all new sites and refurbishments are delivered to the highest standards on time and on budget and that maintenance support for nurseries is targeted and effective and all policies are met.
This role requires an organised & systematic approach, with a dedication to efficient programme management. You will be passionate about working with others to problem solve and find solutions while retaining a fun and dynamic culture. This will allow you to make your mark and help N realise our vision of being the highest quality and most loved, early years education group in the UK.

Day to day you will:
- Be accountable for delivering our new site & refurbishment programme, delivering around up to 4 new nurseries per year (our typical site is 6,000 sq ft, which requires full refurbishment often with extensive structural, M&E & fit-out works)
- Be responsible for delivering on-time, on budget and reporting of project status internally
- Effectively communicate with key stakeholders from across the business
- Have full responsibility of managing projects from feasibility to completion
- Appointment and management of all external consultants and contractors through the N process
- Have strong leadership skills and demonstrable ability to lead, motivate internal and external teams
- Have overall budget control of your projects and manage cost through approvals (£1.5 - 3m Capex budget per site)
- Support the Expansion team on all new sites, visiting sites and prepare feasibility reports
- Be responsible for ensuring that the N design is implemented that meets operational and safeguarding requirements
- Be a role model for exceptionally high standards, never cutting corners, thriving on feedback and leading on solutions to maintain high standards
- Be the Contract Administrator on every project.
What you need to bring with you:
Experience:
-Min 1 year of commercial fit out and development management experience
- Experience of project management and managing multiple projects
-Worked on multi site rollout programmes
Qualifications/Training:
-A relevant construction qualification or working towards professional membership of recognised institution such as CIOB / RICS / APM
-Good range of technical and skills to deal with the wide variety of building and project types
-Working knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations
-Full clean driving licence

- £30-35k annual salary + 3k car allowance
