Role Summary

  • Operating pilot plant trials and directly impacting product development
  • Preparing formulations, maintaining equipment & working area
  • Documenting trial & analytical results

  • Availability for shift-based work and occasional lab analyses

Role Requirements

  • High School degree or Higher Vocational Education
  • 5+ years’ experience in Food Manufacturing & Mechanical repair
  • Basic MS Office skills, English proficiency
  • Team player, initiator, problem solver, proactive
  • Preferable hands-on experience with analytical techniques and thermal process theory
  • Knowing Swedish is a plus

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO This is opportunity to join Oatly’s Innovation Support team as a Pilot Plant Operator. This is an awesome and highly committed group, that now has an opening for you. The work will focus on operating the pilot plant trials, a chance to have a direct impact on the product and technology development of one of the world’s most innovative and sustainable companies. To succeed in the role, we believe you have experience from food manufacturing and maintain equipment. If you have the drive, curiosity, focus and a warm personality, here is your chance. Here’s what you would do, Prepare formulations and perform pilot plant trials in a safe and efficient manner Coordinate pilot plant trial planning and preparation Set-up, operate, clean food-processing equipment and pilot plant Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean sanitary and working condition Document trial records and prepare summaries of trial results, follow-up & review Organize, analyze and record data (process parameters and release raw material parameters) as outlined in the pilot plant request Analyze samples from the trials with analytical tools like pH, viscosity, etc. and microbiologically Writing routines, checklists, instructions, and updates when required. Be part of risk assessments, do required inventory and maintain the lists up to date Support pilot team with mechanical repair, be part of maintenance activities for machinery Some of the activities includes manual handling with lifts to 10 kg This role requires availability for shift-based work. Jump into lab analyses whenever needed.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE To thrive in this role, we believe you have: A High School degree or Higher Vocational Education 5+ years’ experience working in Food Manufacturing & Mechanical repair Strong focus on safety Basic MS office skills Good and effective communication skills in English, both oral and written We imagine you’re someone who cares about the details, because you know that doing things right really matters. You’re a true team player who’s flexible, ready to jump in, and happy to help your teammates when needed, collaboration and co-creation come naturally to you. You take initiative, lead yourself, and don’t wait around to make things better. You’re proactive, good at managing your time and plans, and you enjoy solving problems. We will be even happier if you bring hands-on experience from working with analytical experience and thermal process theory. It’s also positive if you know some Swedish, at least on a social level.
