About the role: Community Manager Intern
As a Community Manager Intern at Diversio, you will be joining a team that is working on a product that is defining the industry standard and is currently helping organizations advance Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. You will work with Diversio teams and spearhead the Diversio Communities, with a focus on scaling and driving direct engagement with existing and prospective customers. You will be expected to act as the voice of Diversio and manage all community communications. What you will do:
Work with the leadership team to set, plan and implement a strategy for Diversio Communities Work with the Marketing team to ensure all content and posts are aligned with branding Research and develop engaging content monitor, track and report any feedback Organize and manage events to boost and build engagement around Diversio Communities Stay up to date with digital technology trends Spend 2-5 hours per week coordinating and executing community events both online and in person. This includes but is not limited to: recruiting speakers, coordinating logistics, writing copy, creating event pages, and sending follow-up materials.You will likely* have:
Must be entering into the third or final year of your program Experience working in a professional environment Pursuing a degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or any other relevant program Proficiency in Slack Effective research and information-gathering skills Ability to take the initiative from ideas to action quickly, to try something new, and problem-solve using analytics Strong communications skills Ability to be a team player in addition to being a self-starter Detail oriented, and comfortable with multitasking Eagerness to learn and adaptThe details:
Pay $20 CAD per hour 10 -15 hours a week Start date April 2023Please note: Applicants must be located in Canada and currently pursuing their degree. Students who are graduating in the spring of 2023 are not eligible for this opportunity.
