Bank Catering Tutor

Share Community is a dedicated organization that provides training courses for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Our mission is to empower these individuals by offering practical skills and training in various fields, including catering. We are located at Share Clapham Junction, 64 Altenburg Gardens, London, UK, SW11 1JL.

The role: As a Bank Catering Tutor, you will join our bank staff to provide cover during staff absences. You will be responsible for training and supporting our students in catering and food preparation skills. This includes planning menus, preparing ingredients, and cooking meals at scale while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety. The role is flexible, with work offered on an as-needed basis, and there is no guarantee of regular work hours.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will have a catering qualification or occupational competency and experience in delivering teaching or training. You should be a confident cook with a can-do attitude. Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety within a kitchen is essential. Experience in cooking for larger groups and batch cooking is beneficial.
