Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Hold a qualification in horticulture or demonstrate relevant occupational competency.

We operate in a beautiful garden setting in Tooting, where we offer horticulture training five days a week.

The role: As a Bank Horticulture Tutor, you will be part of our flexible bank staff, stepping in to provide cover during staff absences. Your primary responsibility will be to support and train students in horticulture and craft skills, preparing them for external qualifications. This role is offered on an 'as-needed' basis, with no guaranteed hours, but with the possibility of being contacted for immediate short-term work or pre-scheduled block weeks.

Job requirements: Ideal candidates will have a qualification in horticulture or relevant occupational competency, along with experience in delivering teaching or training. A confident gardening ability and a proactive attitude are essential. Knowledge of health and safety practices in a garden setting is highly desirable.
