Role Summary

  • Assess event proposals from new as well as returning organizers.

The Role We are seeking a Licensing Coordinator to join the TEDx Licensing team. This is a full-time role. The focus of this role will be on evaluating event proposals from new and returning organizers, reaching out to applicants to gather more information about their proposals or to clarify aspects of the program, and providing general support to our community to keep up with their enthusiasm and growth.

Job Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree is required. The ideal candidate should be organized and excel at handling a high volume workload. Being community-minded and willing to offer support for any task, no matter how small, is crucial. You should excel at time management, completing tasks at a high level of quality, and be resourceful, proactive, and excited to learn and take on new challenges. Strong customer service orientation is needed: you will represent TEDx to prospective and existing organizers and communicate with our volunteer community with clarity and compassion. Interest in learning more about community development and engaging with diverse cultures on a day-to-day basis is important. Familiarity with Salesforce, proficiency in Google Drive, and experience living or working in another country are beneficial. Speaking another language is a plus.
