Role Summary

  • Part-time Graphic Designer for TED@Work
  • Create visual assets across marketing, sales, and product initiatives
  • Flexibility on a week-to-week basis with hours ranging from 15-25 per week

Role Requirements

  • 5+ Years of graphic design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Slides
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual storytelling skills
  • Experience designing presentations, client collateral, and sales materials
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Interest in learning, storytelling, and mission-driven work
  • Motion graphics or light animation experience (desirable)

The Role ABOUT TED@WORK TED@Work brings powerful TED ideas into the workplace, helping organizations inspire new ways of thinking, spark conversation, and drive meaningful change. We enable global organizations to create powerful learning moments through curated TED Talks, courses, and experiences. Our offerings include TED@Work Learning, TEDxBusiness, TED Training, and TED@Work Licensing.

POSITION OVERVIEW We’re looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to create high-quality visual assets across marketing, sales and product initiatives. We want this role to operate as an extension of the TED@Work team. Projects will vary week-to-week, so hours will fluctuate as design needs come up—ranging from 15-25 hours per week.

Job Requirements Qualifications 5+ years of graphic design experience (agency, in-house or freelance) Strong portfolio demonstrating experience across marketing, sales and product Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Google Slides; Figma and Canva experience is a plus Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling skills Experience designing presentations, client collateral and sales materials for B2B or enterprise audiences Ability to effectively manage time and tasks across multiple projects and stakeholders Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback and work independently Excellent organizational and communication skills A keen eye for accuracy in all aspects design, from composition to copywriting Interest in learning, ideas, storytelling and mission-driven work Deep understanding of brand systems and design templates

Nice to Have Experience supporting SaaS or professional services brands Familiarity with corporate audiences like L&D, HR and Communications Motion graphics or light animation experience
