What are LLMs doing to the human-knowledge interaction?

How can we redesign experiences for people trying to get answers from multiple sources and different content types?

Those are the product questions we are trying to answer here at Sifted. Do you want to design solutions with us?

We are looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer to join us.

In this role, you will work in the product team and in close collaboration with everybody in the company to research, design, and ship features that will help our users understand the complex world of early-stage startups.

You will be joining a team of ~10 people who are passionate about building products that make a real impact.

What will you do…

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of our target users
  • Design and prototype user interfaces and interactions that are intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing
  • Participate in user testing to validate design decisions and gather feedback
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure the final product meets business and user goals
  • Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and team members

Requirements

  • A few years of experience in product design. This mainly means that we expect candidates to have experience and have done this for a while. There isn’t a specific number of years we are looking for. Please do not make this discourage you from applying
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates your design process and ability to create user-centered solutions.
  • Experience with user research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing
  • Ability to think strategically and understand the bigger picture
  • Experience working in remote and cross-functional teams

Bonus:

  • Experience working with startups or in the startup ecosystem
  • An interest in how humans learn

Benefits

  • Salary: £40-55k [depending on seniority and location].
  • A fully remote work environment with quarterly offsite.
  • Exposure to a wide range of startup founders and investors.
  • Options equal to 10% of your salary.
  • Shiny technical equipment — we’re a Mac shop generally, but are open to whatever suits your needs.
  • £1,000 annual learning budget to spend on personal development.
  • 28 days of annual leave.
  • Proper mental health care. We offer free access to a comprehensive mental healthcare solution.
