Role Summary
- Coordinate calls and queries to intake lines, providing information about Battersea's intake policies and procedures.

The role: As a Dog Intake Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the calls and enquiries received to the intake lines, answering questions, and explaining Battersea's intake policies and procedures to customers. This includes ensuring that animals are scheduled and brought into Battersea efficiently and in line with operational requirements, with support from Intake Team Leaders. You will also be responsible for settling animals into appropriate kennels on arrival, logging behavioural observations and pre-admission histories onto our central database, and carrying out investigations into ownership for animals. Additionally, you will provide cover for the Lost Dogs duty on weekends and ad-hoc to assist with reuniting dogs in and outside of Battersea and process the intake of stray dogs from Local Authorities.
Job requirements: The role involves a lot of physical tasks required to provide exceptional standards of care to our animals. We are looking for people with the resilience and adaptability to handle all aspects of this role.
