Contract: Permanent, job share working 17.5 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £ 46,895 per annum (pro - rata) plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: London (The role will be based at the London office; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members if the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
Want to be part of a team of creative, exciting, diverse leaders who are on a mission to change the way the cultural sector works? As a Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, you will manage partnerships, investments, and development programmes across the London Area, and lead a team of experienced Relationship Managers.
You will have specialist knowledge of the London Combined Arts and/or Dance sector. Based in the London office, you’ll be skilled at leading and motivating teams, and capable of creating strong partnerships with local stakeholders at a senior level. You’ll work with your job share to co-ordinate work for the London Area in the Arts Council’s work on Engagement & Audiences – including the Creative People and Places funding programme. You will also be responsible for stakeholder engagement as part of our Place based working.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels
- Good leadership skills
- Strong experience of people and project management
- Good understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by cultural organisations
- Experience of managing change
- Strong understanding of business planning and financial reporting
- Knowledge of the Combined Arts and/or Dance sector in London
