As a Procurement Manager, your role is crucial in delivering value-for-money solutions that align with Kew's strategic goals. You will manage a diverse, fast-paced portfolio across service contracts, concessions, specialist goods, and capital works. Working with the Marketing and Commercial Events Directorate, you'll cover broad areas from event production to communications and related commercial services.
Applicants must have public sector procurement experience under the Procurement Act 2023 (or transitioning from PCR 2015), with a solid understanding of compliant tendering processes and governance requirements. Experience in Competitive Flexible Procedures or similar complex procurements is desirable.

The role of the Procurement Manager is to deliver high-quality, value-for-money solutions that support Kew’s strategic ambitions. This includes managing a diverse and fast-paced portfolio spanning service contracts, concessions, specialist goods, and capital works across Kew Gardens. This position supports the Marketing and Commercial Events Directorate, covering creative commissions, brand and campaign delivery, event production, communications, and related commercial services. You will work alongside experienced Procurement Managers to support end-to-end procurement and contract management across multiple projects.
Job requirements include demonstrable experience of public sector procurement under the Procurement Act 2023 (or transitioning from PCR 2015), with a strong understanding of compliant tendering processes and governance requirements. Experience in running or supporting Competitive Flexible Procedures or similar complex procurements would be advantageous.
