Founder Associate

💡What we're looking for

We're looking to hire our first commercial and operations team member to join as a Founders' Associate, working directly with the founders on a wide range of exciting tasks and problems to help build and scale the company. The job is an opportunity for you to gain first-hand experience and exposure in a growing start-up and for your work to be integral to the company's success.

💡What you'll do

• Work with and report directly to the founder's Joe and Henry, becoming part of the senior management team
• You will be thrown at different projects and problems across the company, with significant autonomy and responsibility from day 1

• Example projects:
• Develop and manage commercial partnerships with banks and accounting technology companies
• Managing investor relationships with existing and prospective investors as well as preparing materials for board meetings and future funding rounds
• Supporting individual teams on an ad-hoc basis to create impact where it’s needed most, such as jumping into a Customer Success conversation with a high-value customer, or working with a key supplier to negotiate contracts
• Help with hiring for key roles
• Proposing ways to support the operations and culture
• Contributing to team meetings and off-sites

• Comfortable with autonomy
• Excellent with time management and quickly shifting tasks as priorities flux, especially as you will be working on multiple projects in parallel
• You’re curious and interested in making an impact, and perhaps keen to be a founder yourself in the future
• Excellent communication skills
• React well under pressure or with task ambiguity
• Adept at handling sensitive information and situations with care and confidence
• Proactive - be able to anticipate and respond to the needs of the co-founders before they arise
• You have 2 - 6+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment (start-up / strategy consulting / investment banking)
