As a Fundraising Officer, you will be instrumental in driving donor acquisition, engagement, and retention through key campaigns such as 60 Miles in June and Hello Yellow, supporting our mission to improve mental health services for young people.
The role: You will be part of the public fundraising team, focusing on generating income from individuals, community groups, and schools. Your responsibilities will include leading key fundraising campaigns, coordinating activities across multiple audiences to drive income and awareness. You will serve as the first point of contact for supporters, ensuring they receive outstanding donor care and managing stewardship plans to build loyalty and maximize fundraising potential.
Job requirements: Candidates should have experience in donor recruitment and retention through mass fundraising activities, with a proven track record of engaging individuals and community groups. You should possess strong data and CRM skills, with the ability to use databases effectively for fundraising or donor journey development. Project management skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and comply with UK fundraising compliance, GDPR, and the Code of Fundraising Practice.
